Skip these introductory paragraphs if you just want to read a bunch of 'new' haiQu because they are confusing. I'm writing them, and I'm not sure what I'm describing.

The platform that hosts this blog, Ghost, is federated. This means every post published appears on our Fediverse timeline. But, confusingly, Ghost also has a feature that allows us to also post Notes to our fediverse timeline. When people who are on the fediverse follow us, or even just find and read our feed, they see all of our Posts and all of our Notes.

But, while Posts are also visible to anyone on the web, including search engines, Notes are only visible on our feed through a fediverse client. Without understanding this difference, I've been posting some haiQu as posts, and some as Notes. I didn't realize that Notes were not visible outside the fediverse, so I am now going to re-publish Notes haiQu as Posts, so they become visible to the world outside the fediverse.

Because there are a lot of Notes, it'll be too bothersome to post them individually, so I'm putting them in a series of posts tagged backlog.

What I'm describing are some of the aspects of the Fediverse that prevent a lot of people from wanting to participate. It is a technically confusing place.
